Liz
Owner/Master Stylist
Liz has been in the beauty and wellness business for over 40 years! You can say that hairdressing is in her blood as she comes from a family of hairstylists. With her sister as a stylist and her mother being a former hairstylist. It’s all about the hair!
Being a salon owner in three different provinces starting out in Winnipeg, Manitoba, then Ontario and now in BC. She loves to pass on her vast experience as a stylist and salon owner to anyone who asks! Or even if they don’t ask!
She is motivated by her love for the beauty industry and her commitment to her team members and loyal clients.
Most of Liz's education has been with Aveda, a 25 year relationship, which includes owning an Aveda Concept Salon for 15 years in Ontario, as well as working as an Educator at the Aveda Institute in Victoria BC. And now owning Lavish Salon for the last 12 years.
The secret to her success is her unwavering integrity and consistency. Providing a place for hairstylists that believe in exceptional service, continued education, luxurious products and a home away from home.
Her focus has always been on an exceptional client experience.

Ayva
Salon Stylist
Ayva is a creative individual who comes from an artistic background. She is a newly retired ballet dancer and has returned to her hairdressing career. She is eager to put her creativity into practice.
Ayva has an eye for detail and loves to take the time to create beautiful results.
In her spare time, Ayva enjoys being outside with her family and always staying active with yoga, dancing, running or teaching fitness classes!

Helen
Master Stylist
Helen was born and raised in the UK, where her career started with a full apprenticeship. Once she finished her qualifications. She moved on to London where she studied at Jingles International and Vidal Sassoon.
In 1991 she immigrated to Toronto and further advanced her career and education.
She worked at the same salon in downtown Toronto for over 20 years, now that’s dedication to the owner and her clients!They are all going to miss her!
Helen has had a life long love of the hair business.
Her style is more classical, like the perfect Bob! Beautiful precision cutting including men’s short style and tapering. And natural curly hair.
She loves hair coloring, highlights, root melts, blowouts and updo's.
In her spare time, she enjoys baking and cooking. But her heart belongs to nature where her and her husband love hiking and kayaking. And love to travel and have been very privileged to have seen many beautiful places.
They are so looking forward to making their home on Vancouver Island.

Mackenzie
Salon Stylist
Mackenzie has been a full-time hairstylist for the last 6 years in Newmarket Ontario.
We are so lucky she has decided to make the move to Victoria!
She has a passion for fun creative colours, as well as balayage and anything blonde!
She loves to do short cuts, as well as long layered shaggy razor cuts. And the classic bob!
She loves being creative whether it be painting, sewing or baking! And loves nothing more than playing with her cat Sprite!!

Alex
New Talent Stylist
Alex is from Vancouver Island. She moved to Victoria to do her year-long apprenticeship at Suki’s Salon! What fantastic training she has had as a new stylist.
She has been a hair stylist for two years . Her favourite cuts are long layers and classic Bobs!
She enjoys doing highlights and blondes. Pretty much loves doing color!
She is passionate in her work, she remains curious about everything new, from techniques to trends and fashionable colours.
Alex is very personable and likes to give a thorough consultation for her clients. She takes her time and she does an awesome blowout too!
When not at work, she enjoys Pottery and painting, being outside.

Kelsey
Master Stylist
Kelsey was born and raised in Montreal. Her career started over 16 years ago while apprenticing at a high-end salon in Montreal.
She quickly gained a reputation for being a very skilled young stylist. She has had the opportunity to participate in hair shows in New York, and further her education through ongoing classes, and learning from exceptional stylists she was fortunate to work with.
Her passion is cutting and styling both women and men as well as sharing a passion for balayage and hair painting.
You will instantly like Kelsey as she genuinely makes all of her clients feel comfortable and at ease.
On her days off she is busy hanging out with her family. Going for hikes and she’s a lover of all animals!

Vanessa
Master Stylist
Vanessa has been working as a hair stylist for the past 20 years. She started out as a full time apprentice in Vancouver, BC.
She has received extensive Vidal Sassoon training in both cuts and colours throughout her career. She stays inspired by keeping up with current fashion trends and advanced education. She loves to take her time with each client and has amazing attention to detail. She is a true Master stylist.
Her days off are filled with outdoor adventures with her sons and husband.
